Disaster Message Board - Connect during Emergencies
Disaster Message Board is a free application developed by SoftBank Corp. to connect to Disaster Message Board and Disaster Voice Messaging Service during emergencies. The app allows you to register, confirm, and delete your whereabouts and safety on SoftBank Disaster Message Board. You can also send a notification message to pre-registered email addresses of your family and friends.
Moreover, Disaster Voice Messaging Service enables you to send and receive voice messages about the safety of you and others, even when the phone line is overwhelmed during a disaster. The service does not require any packet charge, except for when you use it while roaming overseas. The application is available on Android platforms and requires no packet charge, except for downloading and installing the app via a cellular network or accessing other carriers' Disaster Message Boards.
Please note that to authenticate the identity of the user, the app sends out the "contractor's unique ID" and "phone number." Also, to simplify input when searching for safety information, it is possible to obtain a phone number from a contact (optional).
